Hi my name is Sarah Spencer, I work as Her Majesty's Concul in the British Embassy in Muscat, I am pleased to be here, I have previously been posted to Kathmandu 1990-1993, Bucharest 1995-1999, Cairo 1999-2002 and Chennai 2006 -2009. I have mainly done management and consular work but have also done visa work and registry.

I have enjoyed all my postings, they have been varied but all fun. I enjoy sports, my passion is my football team Aston Villa, and I like playing tennis and watching cricket. I enjoy reading and listening to music, especially live music.

I am really excited about being in Muscat and have already spotted some dolphins. I hope to be able to learn to scuba dive and do some exploring. I have 2 children, William who is 9 and Ava Rose who is 6. They both attend the British School and are really enjoying Oman so far.
