The British Ambassador Dr. Noel Guckian presented a number of Arabic language books to the National Private School in Al Khuwair as a donation from the British Embassy in Muscat.  

The Ambassador was received by the owner of the school H.H. Sayed Barghesh bin Said Al Said in addition to other members of the school’s administration committee.  During his visit the Ambassador visited classrooms and chatted with the students.  The school presented the Ambassador with a memento in appreciation for the donation of the books.  

The donation is part of the Embassy’s co-operation with local institutions of learning.  The local Arabic language press including Oman Arabic, Al Watan and Shabiba covered the event.
