Head of Section: Graham Inett

The Trade & Investment Section of the British Embassy functions to further develop the strong trading relationship that exists between the United Kingdom and Oman.

What are our individual responsibilites?

• Graham Inett heads the section. She keeps a watching brief on major projects including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Power/desalination. She also acts as liaison for the Oman British Friendship Association (OBFA) and the British Business Forum.
• Sam Oliver has responsibility for Agriculture & Fisheries, Fire & Safety, Construction, Consumer goods, Processing & Packaging.

In addition the section has two assistants who handle day-to-day enquiries. They are Faris Al Balushi and Irene Bedwin.  Additionally Maria is responsible for Education & Training and Tourism & Leisure, Irene is responsible for IT and Healthcare .
